So, I'm overly excited because I just received the coolest thing. It's a Keystone K-8 8mm Movie Camera, circa 1930's. It's insanely nifty and it appears to be in working condition. I can't wait to get some film to try it out! Here's a photo I found of one online...I'll have to take some photos of it myself soon.

I had a great time last weekend at the Circleville Pumpkin Show. I never had been and a friend invited me to go with her. It was a blast. I never have seen so many things pumpkin! Here are a few favorite moments of the day.
Gus the pumpkin (or more properly...squash) carver. He's actually my friend's ex-husband. It was nice seeing someone I knew haha.
An overview of lots of pumpkins. From the pumpkin tower to some of the huge ones in the foreground. The winner of largest pumpkin was insanely big. I was impressed.

I know I should wait until I get my photos developed, but I just can't wait to blog about some of the explorations I've been doing with film! Recently I came across a Diana camera, which is known for "dreamy" and "romanticized" photos. I'm so excited to have my first roll developed. It uses 120 film (my first time using medium format), but I was excited to find out that Cord still develops and prints 120! Phew! I'm hoping to get some great shots at the upcoming Pumpkin Festival at Circleville, Ohio. It's my first time going and it sounds like quite a party down there!
Recently I did some interesting night photographs. Here is my favorite. Thanks to Will for helping me hold the tripod to the car!

Last weekend didn't have any weddings scheduled, so my husband and I took the opportunity to take a quick day trip to the hocking hills area. We stopped past Old Man's Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave and Rock Bridge. It was a great day for a hike and both of us got some great photographs. Here are some of my favorites.
Last weekend I had the great opportunity to go to OSU area for another wonderful wedding! Eric and Katie looked great and had a wonderful ceremony. Heather also got some amazing shots here. Here are my highlights from the day.
Oh, I'm a little behind on the blogging! Here are some photos from a few weeks ago when I went with Heather for another wedding (you can check out here photos here). Rick and Laura had a beautiful wedding set at Ash Cave. It was absolutely beautiful! Here are some highlights.
